 Hi, I’m Casey Barnes — a communicator, storyteller, and occasional coffee shop philosopher with a passion for purposeful connection.

 

With over 6 years of experience in public affairs and digital content, I’ve worn many hats: from producing social media campaigns and newsletters aboard the USS COLE, to supporting over 1,500 military-affiliated students each month at Old Dominion University’s Military Connection Center. I’ve led livestreams, managed outreach events, and built strategies that elevate both voices and missions.

When I’m off the clock, you’ll likely find me at the gym, curled up with my Kindle, or writing spirited essays about why Captain America is always right and why the Star Wars prequels deserve a little more credit.
