Projects
Old Dominion University
While earning my Master’s in Lifespan and Digital Communication at ODU, I’ve led outreach at the Military Connection Center, created digital content for First Star Academy, and served as President of the Student Veterans of America chapter. These experiences have sharpened my skills in community engagement, digital storytelling, and strategic communication.

Indiana Wesleyan University
While earning my Bachelor’s in Public Relations at Indiana Wesleyan University, I honed my writing and reporting skills through a hands-on course in News Writing, where I covered campus and community events to produce real-time news stories. In my senior year, I interned with the Alzheimer’s Association’s Indianapolis Chapter, creating press releases, crafting media pitches, and managing social media content to support outreach and advocacy efforts.

USS COLE
During my tour aboard the USS COLE, I served as the Assistant Public Affairs Officer, where I led internal and external communication efforts. I managed the command’s Facebook page, crafted monthly newsletters, and captured event photography to highlight the ship’s activities. I supported media relations during high-profile events such as Port Everglades Fleet Week and played a key role in planning and executing coverage for the annual COLE Remembrance Ceremonies. My work helped preserve the ship’s legacy while keeping both crew and community informed and engaged.
